Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 24, 2026

NxtGeneCom ("we", "our", or "us") operates the NxtGeneCom Image Optimizer Shopify application. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices concerning the collection, usage, and safeguarding of information when you install and use our App on your Shopify store.

1. Information We Collect

• Store & Account Data: We securely synchronize your Shopify store domain, store owner name, and email address to manage your account, authenticate API requests, and handle subscription billing.
• Media & Catalog Data: We access product images, collection covers, and blog imagery solely to execute your requested transformations (such as compression, AI alt text generation, resizing, and watermarking). Original image files are backed up securely for 30 days to facilitate the "Restore Original" feature.

2. Data Retention & Erasure

We retain your data only for the duration of your active installation. If you uninstall the application or submit an official GDPR/CCPA data erasure request through Shopify, your store records, access tokens, and stored cloud backups are permanently purged from our databases within 48 hours.
